CCCW Derelict Vessel Removals 2023

RCRS partnered with the Ka:'yu:'k't'h'/Che:k:tles7et'h' First Nation to execute derelict vessel removals in the areas surrounding Kyuquot between August 2023 and January 2024. A total of 35 vessels were extracted, resulting in the removal of 59,610 kg of debris from coastal waters and the creation of 30 jobs. This project was funded by the Clean Coast Clean Waters (CCCW) initiative.
