Corporate Donor Townline: Shoreline Cleanup

Rugged Coast teamed up with Townline Homes in 2022 for a shoreline clean-up in Clayoquot and Barkley Sounds on the west coast of Vancouver Island.

In partnership with Surf Rider Pacific Rim, Hesquiaht First Nation, Ahousaht First Nation, Toquaht First Nation, and BC Parks, a total of 42.2 kilometres of shoreline was cleaned and a total of 6,980 kilograms of marine debris was removed of which 4,650kg was recycled by Ocean Legacy Foundation (OLF), 900kg was locally repurposed and 1,430kg was sent to landfill.
